Q: I am presently a student at Resonate, how do I sign up?

A: Click here to go to our sign up page. It’s at this page where you can create your account.

 

Q: I’ve created my account, now what?

A: Once you create your account you will receive an email with your login information. After you login you’ll be able to add your own profile picture and start sharing your page and collecting pledges.

 

Q: Where do the proceeds go that are raised for Play for Pets?

A: 100% of the proceeds raised will go to the Edmonton Humane Society (a registered charity) to help in the prevention of animal cruelty.

 

Q: Do you have to be a registered student at Resonate to sign up?

A: Yes, only registered students of Resonate can sign up and create their own profile to collect pledges. However, anyone can donate through our general donation page.

 

Q: Is Play For Pets accepting corporate sponsorships?

A: Absolutely, please contact our General Manager directly at m.cathrea@resonatemusic.ca if you are interested in our corporate sponsorship programs.

 

Q: How are the donations processed?

A: Donations can be made through our online donation page, processed through the secure form of PayPal, or with physical pledge forms that can be picked up at Resonate’s reception desk.

 

Q: Will I receive a receipt for tax purposes?

A: Yes, at the end of our fundraiser the Edmonton Humane Society will send out official tax receipts to all those who made donations.

 

Q: When does Play for Pets end?

A: Play for Pets ends on the day of our celebration event at West Edmonton Mall on July 24th, 2016.

 

Q: Will Resonate be open on July 24th, 2016?

A: No, Resonate will be closed for our Play for Pets celebration event on July 24th, 2016. Make-up lessons will not be required for this day.

 

Q: Who will be performing at the Play for Pets celebration event at West Edmonton Mall on July 24th, 2016?

A: There will be performances by select students, teachers, and local artists. Students who are interested in performing will be randomly drawn from a list of those who raise a minimum of $100.00. Any students interested in performing should let their teacher know.

 

Q: Will there be a prize for the student who collects the most money in pledges?

A: Yes, the student who raises the most money will receive $500.00 towards their music lessons at Resonate. The top 3 students will receive a guided VIP tour of The Edmonton Humane Society.

 

Q: Are there any other prizes for students who receive pledges?

A: Yes, any student who raises a minimum of $50.00 will be entered for a chance to win 3 tickets to see Tegan and Sara live in concert, in Edmonton on Oct 8th, 2016.
