Joined Resonate: Summer, 2013.
Hi! I’m Stephanie! I teach voice, piano, theory and group lessons here at Resonate Music School & Studio. My musical journey started almost thirty years ago at the Academy of Music in Regina, Saskatchewan where I grew up. I loved music so much that I started teaching piano and organ lessons at the Academy in September of 2000 and I have been teaching music ever since.I moved to Edmonton, Alberta in 2006 where I studied voice and pipe organ at Concordia University. While attending university I taught private music lessons part time. In the summer of 2008 I released my first album, graduated University, got married and started teaching voice and piano full time at Edmonton Music Studios. From 2008-2013 I adjudicated at different music festivals across Saskatchewan and Alberta and I taught Voice, Piano, Theory, Kindermusik and Choir. In 2013 I got the opportunity to teach at Resonate Music and I haven’t looked back. I love working with students of all ages and I teach everything from classical to pop music. In addition to teaching at Resonate, I work as an adjudicator for the Saskatchewan Music Festival Association and I’m an accompanist for the Edmonton Public School Board. I also work as an Educational Assistant to Students with Disabilities at MacEwan University and when I have time I love to sing and play piano for local bands around Edmonton.I am a wife and a proud mom of three beautiful young children. I’m very excited to be working with Resonate to complete my first children’s album which was inspired by my Resonate students and by my own little ones at home. If you see me around, come and say hi!
