Hello, my name is Fabio and I teach Guitar and Piano at Resonate Music School & Studio. I graduated from MacEwan University in Edmonton with a Bachelor’s in Jazz and Contemporary Popular Music, and a Composition Diploma.
I was born and raised in Bogota, Columbia and bring a lot of different and diverse influences to my musical practice and lessons. As a teacher, I tailor my lessons to keep my students engaged and interested in their practice, with the goal of developing their own musical identity and sound.
I started playing guitar during my adolescence and developed a special interest for classical music and film and visual media scoring. This passion led me to explore my own musicality and craft my own sounds and compositions, creating musical pieces for chamber ensembles, choirs and orchestras. I hope to bring this sense of wonder and exploration to all my lessons, helping my students learn their instrument as they discover more about their own inherent musicality.
