Hi! My name is Jessie and I teach Voice and Beginner Piano at Resonate Music School & Studio.
I have a diploma from MacEwan University in Music Composition and have been a private music educator for three years. I love to work with students of all ages and experiences. Along with the basics of technique and theory, I aim to explore specific areas of interest with each student during lessons. I have worked with students to stylize the voice, sing vocal harmonies, write their own songs, learn their favorite songs by ear and compose piano pieces (yes, even beginners can compose!)
Some genres I love are folk, pop, R&B, classical, jazz, musical theatre and Indian classical music.
