Do You Have The HOT Factor?

It’s that time again for Hot 107’s HOT Factor: a program put in place to develop the careers of Edmonton’s emerging artists. The Edmonton area is filled with hard-working and talented artists whose careers could be taken to the next level of success if given exposure, funding and support. The goal of The HOT Factor is to find the most deserving six every year, and give them just that. Out of the hundreds of applicants that submit their music, the top 10 will be chosen by The HOT Factor Committee, with public voting taken into consideration in determining the final 6.

The Final 6 selected artists/bands will each receive the following awards:

-$10,000.00 to be spent developing their careers (touring, promotion and marketing, etc.)
-Promotion on HOT 107 and www.hot107.ca
-A recording package at Resonate Music School & Studio, the official sponsors of The HOT Factor.

As part of Resonate’s sponsorship, a 15% discount will be offered to those requiring studio services for submission to The HOT Factor Program. This includes recording, mixing, mastering, songwriting, and production. One of the requirements to enter is that you must submit two high quality recordings. Resonate provides you the opportunity to ensure that level of quality at an incredibly affordable rate.
