The People Here
The teachers at Resonate are examples of a life with music at the center of it. They perform, write, record, and play out around Edmonton, with teaching as one part of that larger practice. What students learn here comes from people still doing the thing, not just describing it.
Kelly
Kelly is usually the first person students and families meet at Resonate. She’s the one making sure a week here holds together, so lessons can start on time, teachers can focus on teaching, and students can focus on music.

Michael
Resonate started in 2012. The conviction behind it was simple: learning music should feel as alive as making music. Most of what’s here grew out of paying attention to what students, teachers, and families actually needed over the years. The fuller version of that thinking lives on the Our approach page.
